Myself, Amirthavarshini Sridhar and my partner Bharat Chander met through an online matrimony app. We first spoke over the phone and then decided to meet up, as we both worked in the same city. We met up in a cafe, and initially, just had a formal conversation. But we both bonded over common food choices and were happy that both of us were foodies. Then we went shopping in a local exhibition and to a temple. Bharat knew the city well as he had grown up here while I was new to the city. He took me to dinner in a restaurant where his father had taken his mom when they had met years back. By this time we had bonded well and the conversations started being natural and organic. Few weeks later he proposed to me and I said yes and we met up along with our families for an engagement.
