The wedding day on 27 February will begin with the Baraat at around 8:30 PM. The groom and his family will arrive in a traditional Baraat, creating a lively and celebratory atmosphere with music, dancing and festivities. Upon arrival, the bride’s family will welcome the Baraat and the groom will proceed towards the wedding venue. The couple will then have their Jaimala ceremony, exchanging garlands in front of their families and guests. This will be followed by the main Hindu wedding rituals, including the sacred pheras around the fire, where the couple will take their vows and begin their journey together. The celebrations will continue with blessings, photographs and family moments. The evening will conclude with the emotional Bidai, as the bride leaves with her family’s blessings and begins a new chapter of her life.
