Kalpesh & Shruti's story
We, Shruti and Kalpesh, met in the United Kingdom while chasing our dreams and building our careers. What started as a simple friendship soon turned into something truly special β€” he fell first, and I fell harder! πŸ’• Our families played cupid and made it official, so you can call it a love-cum-arranged marriage (or maybe arranged-cum-love β€” we still can’t decide! πŸ˜„). Though we now call London home, our wedding will take place in India, filled with colours, culture, laughter, and traditions close to our hearts. A few of our English friends will also join us for the celebration β€” so no one will ever feel left out! We would love for you to be part of our big day and share in the joy, music, and magic as two worlds come together. πŸ’βœ¨

Engagement, haldi, sangeet
πŸ’› Day 1 – A Celebration of Love, Colour & Music Our wedding festivities begin with a day full of joy and traditions. The morning starts with our Engagement Ceremony, where we exchange rings and promise forever surrounded by our loved ones. In the afternoon, we’ll celebrate the Haldi Ceremony – a cheerful ritual where family and friends apply turmeric paste to bless us with good luck, love, and glowing skin before the wedding. Expect lots of laughter, music, and splashes of yellow! As night falls, get ready for our Sangeet – a lively evening of music, dance, and celebration. Both families come together to sing, perform, and dance their hearts out under the stars. Day 1 is all about love, laughter, and the magic of togetherness. πŸ’«

Wedding
πŸ’ Day 2 – The Wedding Day Our wedding day begins with the sacred Maharashtrian rituals filled with simplicity, purity, and heartfelt traditions. The morning starts with blessings from our families, followed by the Antarpat ceremony, where a cloth separates the bride and groom until the sacred mantras are chanted. As the curtain drops, our eyes meet, garlands are exchanged, and the holy fire witnesses our vows during the Saptapadi β€” seven sacred steps of togetherness. You’ll see vibrant attire, soothing chants, happy tears, and endless smiles. The rituals are short, joyful, and full of meaning β€” celebrating love, respect, and the union of two souls and families. The day ends with blessings, laughter, and hearts full of happiness as we begin our forever. ❀️
