About the hosts
Rahul & Shivani's story
Two years ago, we met through a mutual friend, and what started as a simple hello grew into a bond filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. I’m 26, working as a Cloud Architect, and she’s 24, a Civil Architect—two different worlds, yet perfectly aligned. Though we both belong to the hills, our roots carry the richness of two vibrant cultures—Kumauni & Garhwali. Our wedding isn’t about being “big and fat,” but about being memorable and soulful—a day where traditions meet joy and love. We invite warm-hearted, happy, and friendly souls to join us in celebrating this once-in-a-lifetime moment. If you love togetherness, laughter, and culture, you’ll feel at home with us. However, arrogant or cocky vibes can kindly stay away. ✨ Join us as a Kumauni weds a Garhwali, and let’s create memories for a lifetime! ✨

Turmeric holds great significance in Indian tradition, symbolizing purity and positivity. Expect lots of fun, music, and a playful vibe as we begin the wedding festivities with color, laughter, and togetherness.
🌸 Mehendi (18th Evening)
After Haldi, the celebrations continue with the Mehendi ceremony, where the bride’s hands are beautifully decorated with intricate henna designs. Guests too can enjoy mehendi, music, and dance while savoring delicious food. The evening is all about celebrating love, joy, and artistry in a vibrant, festive atmosphere that sets the tone for the big day ahead.
🥁 Baraat & Wedding (19th)
The wedding day begins with the Baraat, a lively procession filled with dance, music, crackers, and pure excitement as the groom’s side makes its way to the venue. At the wedding, traditions, dance, and feasting continue in full spirit. The most awaited moment—the pheras (wedding vows)—will take place around midnight, marking the union of a Kumauni and a Garhwali in a truly unforgettable way.
