Harkeet Singh & Gurleen's story
Hi, we’re Harkeet & Gurleen 🤍 Our story began in a traditional arranged marriage setup - a boy from Mumbai and a girl from Pune meeting through family, not knowing it would turn into something so meaningful. Gurleen is focused, driven, & a bit of an overthinker. I’m relaxed, spontaneous, and believe things unfold as they’re meant to. She loves spicy food and beer; I have a sweet tooth and stay far away from beer! We may be opposites in personality, but we’re deeply aligned in values - family, loyalty, spirituality, and building a life rooted in respect and laughter. Over long coffee conversations, we realized we don’t complete each other by being the same - we balance each other by being different. We say this often: “Love is not about finding someone who is just like you. It’s about someone who helps you become the best version of yourself.” We’re planning our wedding as a heartfelt celebration of culture, love, & connection and we’d be honored to have you be part of our story.

Jee Aaya Nu – A Grand Punjabi Welcome 🤍
Jee Aaya Nu – A Grand Punjabi Welcome 🤍 Our wedding celebrations begin with “Jee Aaya Nu”, which means “A heartfelt welcome.” This is the moment when both families officially meet, greet, and begin celebrating together. It’s a joyful welcome lunch filled with warm hugs, shared laughter, and the excitement of two families coming together as one. Over delicious Indian food, conversations will flow, stories will be exchanged, and new bonds will begin to form. To make it even more special, you’ll experience a traditional Punjabi dhol welcome which will be energetic live drum beats that instantly lift the mood and set the tone for celebration. This event is all about warmth, hospitality, and celebrating new beginnings in the most vibrant way. Come hungry, come curious, and come ready to feel truly welcomed. ✨🥁

Gharoli – A Sacred Beginning 💛
The Gharoli ceremony is a beautiful Punjabi pre-wedding ritual that takes place on the groom’s side before the wedding. It marks the spiritual beginning of the wedding day. In this ceremony, close female relatives visit a temple to fill a decorated earthen pot (called the gharoli) with holy water. This water is then brought back home in a joyful procession and used for the groom’s ceremonial bath. The ritual symbolizes purification, blessings, and preparing the groom for his new journey into married life. It is an intimate yet vibrant ceremony filled with traditional songs, laughter, and emotional moments. Elders bless the groom, family members celebrate together, and the atmosphere is full of excitement and positivity. Gharoli represents cleansing, protection, and welcoming good fortune before the wedding rituals begin — a meaningful cultural tradition passed down through generations. ✨
Haldi + Carnival 💛🎉
Our Haldi + Carnival will be a fun-filled, colorful pre-wedding celebration like no other! The ceremony begins with applying turmeric (haldi) to bless us with love and prosperity, and this year it gets extra playful — haldi and vibrant flowers will be joyfully tossed, creating a visually stunning, lively atmosphere. The poolside setup takes it up a notch, with a stage built over the swimming pool, bright décor, and a sunny, festive vibe. Expect fun games, live food counters, and nonstop laughter. Drinks and alcohol, including plenty of beer, will keep the energy high, while everyone enjoys playful moments and photo-worthy fun. It’s messy, colorful, and overflowing with joy — the perfect way to kick off the wedding festivities in style! 🌸🥳✨
Sufi Night 🌙🎶
Our Sufi Night is a magical evening of soulful music, romance, and celebration. Set under soft lights with elegant décor, a live Sufi singer and his band will perform mesmerizing Sufi songs, filling the air with devotion, love, and emotion — the perfect way to connect with the heart of Indian music and spirituality. To enhance the experience, there will be a selection of alcohol so you can sip, relax, and truly enjoy the melodies. Later, the night will transition into a high-energy DJ party with lights, dance, and celebration. It’s the perfect mix of soulful music, heartfelt moments, and vibrant fun — a night to sway, sing, celebrate, and dance under the stars. ✨🥂💃

Punjabi Wedding Day
Punjabi Wedding Day – Barat, Anand Karaj, Lunch & Vidaai 💍✨ The big day begins with the Barat — the groom’s lively procession filled with music, dhol beats, and joyous dancing. Guests are encouraged to join in the fun, dance along, and celebrate as the groom arrives in a grand, energetic welcome. At the Gurudwara, the bride’s family warmly welcomes the groom’s side by placing garlands on every guest, a traditional gesture of respect, love, and unity. This leads into the sacred Anand Karaj, where the bride and groom take the four pheras around the Guru Granth Sahib, pledging lifelong love, commitment, and spiritual unity. After the rituals, everyone enjoys a grand vegetarian feast with over 100 dishes and desserts spanning multiple cuisines. The day concludes with the heartfelt Vidaai, an emotional farewell as the bride begins her new journey, surrounded by blessings, laughter, and love. A full day of tradition, joy, and unforgettable memories! 💛🥰✨
