Navyug & Charmi's story
My marriage journey sounds quite exciting and unique. It's understandable that choosing a life partner can be a challenging decision. However, with the support and guidance of parents, i were able to find charmi whom believe is the right match for me. It must have been quite special to visit India after being away for 10 years, especially during the pandemic. Although the circumstances were challenging, but determination to meet potential partners shows commitment towards finding a life partner. It's great that i had the opportunity to spend three months in India, allowing to get to know the girls as my parents listed and make a decision based on your preferences. Remember, marriage is a beautiful journey filled with love, understanding, and growth. With your friendly and positive nature, I'm sure will create a strong and loving bond with your chosen partner. Cherish this new chapter in your life and embrace the joy and happiness that comes with it.

Mehndi
In Gujarati culture, the mehndi ceremony is an important part of the marriage festivities. It is usually held a day or two before the wedding and is primarily a women-only event. The ceremony is filled with traditional songs, dance, and rituals that celebrate the upcoming union of the bride and groom.During the mehndi ceremony, the bride, along with her female relatives and friends, gather at a designated location. Mehndi artists are invited to apply intricate henna designs on their hands and feet. The designs often include traditional motifs such as peacocks, flowers, and paisleys, as well as the initials of the bride and groom. The bride's mehndi is usually the most elaborate, covering her entire hands and feet. It is believed that the darker the mehndi stain, the stronger the love between the couple will be. The bridesmaids and other female guests also get their hands decorated with mehndi, albeit in simpler designs.

Jaan aagman/ welcoming groom’s family
The Jaan Agaman is an important part of a Gujarati wedding, where the groom's family is welcomed by the bride's family. The Jaan refers to the singing and dancing procession that accompanies the groom to the wedding venue. The groom's family and relatives, usually dressed in traditional attire, make their way to the marriage hall or banquet. Upon their arrival, the bride's family greets them with warmth and joy. They offer sweets to the groom's family as a gesture of hospitality and to express their happiness and excitement for the upcoming union. Additionally, an aarati (a traditional ritual of waving a tray with a lit lamp) is performed to bless and welcome the groom's family. The Jaan Agaman is a lively and celebratory event, filled with music, dancing, and joyous interactions between the two families. It signifies the beginning of the wedding ceremony and the union of the two families.
