Sharon & Aditi's story
We come from two different religions, but what started as a simple conversation on a dating app turned into something truly special. We instantly connected over our shared love for coffee, competitive badminton matches, and conversations that never seemed to end.
Today, I'm 27 and he's 28, and we both work in IT. Over the past two years, we've built a relationship filled with friendship, trust, respect, and plenty of laughter. From coffee dates and badminton battles to memorable trips and adventures, we've created countless moments that have brought us closer with every passing day.
While our backgrounds may be different, our values, dreams, and commitment to each other have always been beautifully aligned. As we begin this exciting new chapter, we'd love to celebrate it with you.

Engagement ceremony
Our engagement ceremony will be an intimate gathering with close family and loved ones. The traditional plate exchange ceremony will take place in the presence of our elders, symbolizing the formal union of our families.
Following the ceremony, the couple will change into their engagement attire and exchange rings, marking the beginning of our journey toward marriage.
The evening will conclude with a special dinner for our invited guests (approximately 50–100 attendees).
After the celebrations, the couple will retire early and rest in preparation for the wedding festivities the following day.
Day 2Sunday, August 23, 2026Kayathar (Tirunelveli)

Church wedding
Our wedding ceremony will take place at the church, beginning at 10:30 AM and concluding by approximately 12:30 PM.
Following the ceremony, we will visit the groom's home for a brief traditional family ritual, where we will be welcomed with customary blessings and refreshments.
Thereafter, we will proceed to the reception venue, expected around 1:00 PM (or earlier, depending on the duration of the church service).
The celebrations at the venue will include a prayer and blessing by the priest, cake cutting, live music by the orchestra, and a photo session with family and friends.
A vegetarian lunch will be served for all guests.
The festivities are expected to continue until approximately 4:00 PM, depending on the gathering and celebrations.

Hindu wedding
Our Hindu wedding ceremony will take place by the beach, offering a beautiful and serene setting as we begin this new chapter together.
The celebrations will begin at 4:00 AM and follow traditional South Indian Brahmin (Iyer) wedding customs. The ceremony will include the swing ceremony (**Oonjal**), symbolizing the couple's journey together, the exchange of flower garlands (**Maalai Maatral**), and other sacred rituals, culminating in the tying of the wedding necklace (**Thaali**), one of the most significant moments of a Hindu wedding, before sunrise.
Following the ceremony, guests are invited to join us for breakfast and a photo session by the beach.
We look forward to celebrating this special morning with our family and friends as we honor tradition and begin our journey as husband and wife.
Reception
Join us for an evening of celebration as we gather with family and friends for our wedding reception.
The festivities will begin at 6:00 PM and feature music, dancing, and entertainment, creating the perfect atmosphere to celebrate this special occasion together. Whether you'd like to hit the dance floor, enjoy the performances, or simply spend time with loved ones, we hope you'll join us for a fun-filled evening.
A buffet dinner will be served, offering a variety of delicious dishes for our guests to enjoy.
