Dilip & Shyamala's story
It all began on an office trip to Kerala, where simple conversations quietly turned into something unforgettable. Work brought us together, and love made us stay. Friendship became laughter that never ended, quiet moments became comfort that felt like home, and a bond so natural it was impossible to ignore. I know that when our kids hear Pam from The Office say, “When you’re a kid, you assume your parents are soulmates. My kids are going to be right about that,” they’ll understand exactly what that love looks like.
In each other we’ve found more than love. We lift each other’s dreams, celebrate victories, and hold each other steady through every storm. With our families’ blessings and hearts full of gratitude, we step into forever as the world glows with Diwali lights. Fireworks will fill the sky, love will fill the air, and we cannot wait to share this once-in-a-lifetime story with you. ✨

Muhurtham (Wedding)
Our Muhurtham (wedding) is a traditional Tamil ceremony filled with sacred rituals and deep meaning. It begins with prayers to Lord Ganesha, followed by Kaasi Yatra. The bride is then draped in red Koora Pudavai given nu groom's family, symbolizing purity of the new journey. The coconut, offered throughout, represents prosperity, fertility, and humility. As the auspicious Muhurtham time approaches, the groom ties the Mangalsutra (Thaali) around the bride’s neck, amidst the sound of the nadaswaram and the shower of akshadai (rice grains mixed with turmeric) from the families. Following this, the couple performs the Saptapadi, where they take seven symbolic steps together around the sacred fire. Each step represents a vow. The fire acts as the divine witness to their promises. Then comes the Ammi Midithal & Arundhati star is shown as a symbol of loyalty and devotion. The ceremony ends with playful Nalangu rituals, celebrating joy, love, and togetherness.
