Mahesh & Preeya's story
We met on Bumble, and from the very beginning, we knew we belonged to the same community. We instantly connected and soon found ourselves talking for hours. A couple of months later, we discovered something incredible—our parents already knew each other! Our families come from the same village and have been closely connected for years. Our parents, cousins, and extended families have met countless times at weddings, festivals, and family gatherings. Yet somehow, we never crossed paths as children, in our 20s or 30s. Looking back, it's amazing that despite so many opportunities, we only met in our 40s. It truly feels like destiny was waiting for the perfect time. With the love and blessings of both our families, what began as a Bumble match became a beautiful journey. We can't wait to celebrate this special day with all of you! ❤️

Main wedding: Muhurtha
Our Wedding Ceremony will be held at the sacred Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple and will follow traditional Vokkaliga (Bande Devaru) customs. The ceremony begins with the Muhurtha, the most auspicious time chosen according to Vedic traditions, during which the sacred wedding rituals are performed. This is followed by Kanyadana, Mangalyadharana (tying of the sacred mangalsutra), Saptapadi (the seven sacred steps), and the exchange of garlands. Surrounded by our families and loved ones, we will seek the blessings of our elders as we begin our journey together as husband and wife. The celebrations will conclude with a traditional South Indian wedding lunch served on a banana leaf.
