Yogesh & Aishwarya's story
Our journey began with an arranged marriage meeting, thoughtfully brought together by our families. The groom works in the IT sector, while the bride is dedicated to the medical field—two different professions, yet guided by shared values, respect, and ambition.
Before anything was decided, we met, spoke, and truly took the time to understand each other. What started as a simple conversation soon became a meaningful connection. Through our talks, we discovered mutual understanding, comfort, and a sense of ease that made everything feel right. With the support and blessings of our families, we chose to move forward together

A traditional Marathi wedding begins with Ganpati Pujan, seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings for a smooth and happy marriage. This is followed by Kanyadaan, where the bride’s parents lovingly entrust their daughter to the groom. During Antarpat, a cloth separates the couple until sacred mantras are completed, after which they see each other as life partners.
The couple then performs Saptapadi, taking seven sacred steps together around the holy fire, symbolizing lifelong vows. Mangalashtaka is recited as family and friends shower the couple with rice, offering blessings. The groom ties the Mangalsutra and applies Sindoor, marking the completion of the marriage at the auspicious Lagna Muhurt.
The celebrations conclude with a traditional Varat (wedding feast) and a joyful Reception with music, dance, and blessings from loved ones.
