Vishnu & Shilpa's story
Hello Shilpa here from bardhaman, wesr bengal , India. I'm the bride. My groom Mr. Vishnu jaiswal is from kolkata. He is an entrepreneur.Basically it's an arranged cum love marriage. It was 8th march 2024 when we met for the first time and in our first meeting i fell in love with his caring nature. We dated for almost 10 months. Slowly slowly our love becomes more deeper and I realised he is the one for me. And we end up in this happily ever after. We are very excited to celebrate our day. Matkor
In 16th January we have arranged 2 events. One is matkor. It's a soil Pooja. In Hindu ceremony soil honors the earth and is performed before marriage to bring good fortune. The bride and the family members go to the temple with band Baja ( Musical performance ) to do this ritual. Tasty Indian food offered to the guests.
Mehendi
A mehendi ceremony, also known as a henna party, is a pre wedding celebration where the bride and her family members and invited guests receive henna tattoos on their hands and feet. Indian food snacks are offered. Accommodation available.

Haldi
This is a fun filled ceremony where family members and guest apply haldi( turmeric paste) on bride's face and body. This ceremony is a blessing for the couple and is said to drive away evil spirits. The turmeric paste also exfoliates the skin and helps to achieve radiant skin for the wedding day.Tasty Indian food is served for guests. Accommodation available
Sangeet
A Sangeet ceremony is a pre wedding celebration in Indian weddings that celebrates the union of the families. It is a colourful event with music, dancing and performances. Indians snacks are served for guests.

Wedding
After all the pre wedding celebrations it's the main day for the bride groom and every members. THE WEDDING DAY. In shirt At first we'll have grand jaimala ceremony. Where the bride and groom exchange floral garlands at the stage. Then after that in mandap the bride and groom exchange vows and show their commitment to theirs and family and friends.
Kanyadan: a solemn ceremony where the bride's father places her hand in the groom's hands and knot theirs clothes together to give her away.
It Will be a overnight program with 30+ Indian dishes with many snacks. You'll definitely enjoy it . Accommodation available.
