Kathiyawadi Vana Rasam
An intimate, traditional feast celebrating our Saurashtrian roots. Vana Rasam is a time-honored pre-wedding ritual full of authentic Kathiyawadi dishes, storytelling, and communal spirit. Expect bold flavors, lively conversation, and dressed-in-color guests. We’ll gather family, close friends, and guests under open skies for Vana Rasam, a traditional Saurashtrian feast. This pre-wedding ritual brings people together over generous servings of spicy Kathiyawadi dishes and local specialties. Think hearty vegetarian curries, tangy chutneys, and sweets made with care. It’s less formal, more familial — a way to taste our culture, hear our stories, and feel the warmth of Gujarati hospitality. Live folk music will accompany the meal, enhancing the atmosphere of community and joy. Traditional Kurta Pajama, sarees, or regional outfits are encouraged — anything vibrant, festive, and full of life.

Starting time (approximately): 10:00 AM
Venue and host contact details will be disclosed upon booking.
Haldi Mehandi Ceremony
The Haldi ceremony is a joyful pre-wedding ritual where family and friends apply turmeric (haldi) paste to the bride and groom’s face, hands, and feet. It symbolizes purification, protection, and the blessing of a bright future. The atmosphere is lighthearted, filled with laughter, playful smearing of haldi, folk songs, and family bonding. It’s a great opportunity for guests to participate actively and experience the warmth of Indian traditions. Expect bright yellow décor, floral garlands, and lots of smiles. The Mehendi ceremony is all about beauty, creativity, and tradition. Intricate henna designs are applied to the hands and arms of the bride and female guests. It’s believed that the darker the mehendi stain, the stronger the love between the couple. This event is relaxed and social, with snacks, light music, and plenty of photo moments. Guests are welcome to get their own mehendi done while enjoying the festive atmosphere.
Mandap Ceremony
The Mandap ceremony involves the sacred setup of the wedding altar where the main wedding rituals will take place. Vedic prayers are chanted by the priest as the mandap (wedding canopy) is spiritually cleansed and decorated. This event carries deep symbolism, invoking blessings from the elements and deities for the upcoming union. Guests can witness and learn about the spiritual aspects of Hindu culture and the importance of each element used in the ritual.
Garba & Bollywood Night
This electrifying evening combines the grace of traditional Garba with the glamour of Bollywood Night. You’ll dance under the stars to rhythmic beats of Garba and Dandiya — signature Gujarati folk styles — followed by a Bollywood-themed dance party with DJs, lights, and energetic music. The venue will be alive with color, movement, and excitement. There will also be food stalls offering local and fusion snacks, mocktails, and desserts. Don’t worry if you’ve never danced before — we’ll show you how!
