Himanshu & Soumya's story
We were in college together back in 2014. He was my crush but I never got the courage to confess until it was our last year. In our farewell I finally confessed and to my surprise he also had a secret crush on me. Since then we starting dating and didn’t realise we will jazz up this good and end up marrying each other. Every ups and downs , we manage , we match up each other’s vibe. We both are an extremely romantic and adventurous couple. We are so much into each other that we end up in the same profession as well i.e., we both are Merchant Navy Officers. With your auspicious presence , we would love to share our culture and traditions with you. We both love travelling the world and we have been to so many places , met wonderful people and would love to make them a part of this Indian cultural wedding. Your presence will give that magic touch to this special day of ours.And of course ,who doesn’t like Indian food & dance on the energetic Bollywood songs😄.

Haldi
In the afternoon, there will a vibrant ceremony of haldi, where the groom and the bride is applied paste of turmeric as it protects them from negative vibes and brings prosperity and blessings to the couple. And a playful celebration with lots of flowers.

Mehendi/sangeet
In the evening, there will be mehendi and sangeet ceremony, the bride is applied henna (mehendi) on hands/feet in which the initials of the groom is hidden which indicates the foreverness love of bride towards the groom and a musical night showing togetherness, celebration, delicious food and amazing dance performances by the cousins and family on traditional and Bollywood songs.

Marriage ceremony
On this evening , the groom and the bride joins together to promise each other that they will be forever together in pain and in happiness till death do us apart. This ceremony is full of emotions, happiness, tears, vows and lots and lots of colours. The groom and the bride becomes officially in a committed relationship in presence of their family and traditional prayers. And definitely not without lots of celebration, music, dance, delicious Indian cultural food and your blessings.
