What happens? The groom sit under a decorated canopy called the mandap. Main rituals: Sacred fire (havan) Seven vows while circling the fire (Saat Pheras) Applying sindoor and tying the mangalsutra Meaning: This is the real, official marriage moment. Spiritually binding. Legally meaningful. Emotionally intense 🔥💍

Jaymala (Varmala Ceremony)
What happens? The couple exchanges flower garlands. Why it’s special: It symbolizes mutual acceptance. It’s usually done on stage in front of everyone. Friends sometimes lift the groom to make it harder. Because love needs minor obstacles, apparently 😌 Big smiles. Loud music. Dramatic photos.
Vidaai (Farewell)
