About the hosts
Ayush & Shweta's story
Our story began at a friend’s wedding, where destiny brought us together for the first time. With the blessings of our families, our bond grew into a beautiful arranged marriage built on trust and respect.
The groom is 29 years old and runs his own business with passion and dedication. The bride is 27 years old and is preparing for her government career with determination and big dreams.
We live in Palampur, Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh, surrounded by mountains, tea gardens and fresh air. Our wedding will be celebrated in a traditional way for three joyful days filled with rituals, music, laughter and happiness. Palampur is also famous for its delicious food, and you will enjoy fresh and warm Kangri Dham during the celebrations.
Our families are fun-loving and welcoming, so you will truly feel at home. We warmly invite guests who have never experienced a mountain wedding before. Come celebrate love, culture and unforgettable memories with us.

Sangeet and dinner
Our Sangeet night will be full of music, dance, colors and joyful energy. Family members and friends will perform traditional and fun dances, creating a lively and happy atmosphere. Guests are welcome to join the celebration, learn simple dance steps and enjoy the rhythm of Indian wedding music. It is a beautiful evening where laughter, bonding and unforgettable moments are created.
After the celebrations, a warm and delicious dinner will be served with love. You will experience authentic Himachali flavors, including fresh and traditional dishes prepared locally. The food will be served hot and fresh, giving you a true taste of mountain hospitality. Sharing a meal together allows everyone to connect, relax and enjoy meaningful conversations in a peaceful mountain setting.
This evening is not just about food and music, but about togetherness, cultural exchange and creating beautiful memories that stay in your heart forever.

Haldi
Our Haldi ceremony is one of the most joyful and meaningful traditions of our wedding. Family members lovingly apply turmeric paste to the bride and groom as a blessing for happiness, good health and prosperity. The atmosphere is filled with laughter, music, playful moments and warm emotions, creating beautiful memories for everyone.
Along with Haldi, we also celebrate the special ritual of Charkha Katna, a traditional ceremony symbolizing new beginnings, prosperity and the strong bond between families. It represents positivity, blessings and the smooth start of married life. Elders guide the ritual while family members gather to celebrate together with joy and respect for tradition.
Guests are warmly invited to observe and participate in these cultural moments, experience authentic Himachali traditions and enjoy the colorful, happy energy around. Surrounded by fresh mountain air and natural beauty, this ceremony becomes even more magical and meaningful.
Lunch,Sehra bandi and departure of barat
In this event we will have lunch after the haldi ceremony by 12pm nd the. Start for the next event of putting oil in grooms head and it will be full of laughter.Then after that we will make groom ready for his barat.It means we will take the groom and the entire family nd the relatives to the brides home nd there will be different type of ritural whie entering the groom to the house. First the brides sisters will welcome the groom And then the entire family does.After that there will be the stage program where the bride nd groom will sit together and the family, relatives and the friends will go one by one to give them blessings it will be followed by dinner as well
Then after that there will be the traditional marriage 7bows will be taken in front of the fire with 7promises by the groom And the bride . Then after that by the mid night the marriage will be all over
And the early morning till 9Am the groom will bring bride to his own home.
Day 3Friday, March 13, 2026Palampur

Welcome bride and groom followed by lunch
On this day the groom will bring bride to his home and the sisters and family of the groom will welcome them both .Then after that the bride and groom will do some Hindu rituals followed by the family members.This is a reception for bride and groom
Followed by our traditional Kangri dham which means rice will be served to you either 6-7different varieties of pulses(dal) and then there will be the traditional dance of ours.
