Haldi
The Haldi ceremony is a joyful pre-wedding ritual in Indian weddings, where a paste of turmeric, sandalwood, and rosewater is applied to the bride and groom. Held separately at their respective homes, this vibrant tradition is believed to purify the couple, bless them with good luck, and bring a natural bridal glow. Friends and family gather to sing, dance, and smear Haldi with love and laughter. Sangeet
The Sangeet is one of the most vibrant and entertaining pre-wedding celebrations in Indian weddings. Traditionally a North Indian custom, it has now become popular across regions. It's an evening filled with music, dance, laughter, and bonding, where both families come together to celebrate the upcoming union. From choreographed performances and playful competitions to heartfelt speeches and impromptu dance-offs, the Sangeet sets the tone for the wedding festivities.
