Juturu & Chandana Priya's story
Greetings! I’m Kushwanth from Nellore, and I’m delighted to invite you to the most special moment of my life—my wedding with Chandana Priya from Kavali. We are both 25, working in the software industry—she in Bengaluru, and I in Pune with TIAA.
We are celebrating our union with a traditional South Indian wedding, rich in culture, customs, and colors. You’ll witness rituals deeply rooted in Telugu tradition, joyful ceremonies, and the vibrant energy of our families coming together. We’ll also be serving authentic South Indian cuisine on banana leaves—a true cultural and culinary experience!
The Reception is on Saturday, 9th August at 7:00 PM, and the Wedding Ceremony takes place early morning on Sunday, 10th August at 4:00 AM.
We warmly welcome you to be part of our celebration, experience the essence of Indian traditions, and create unforgettable memories with us.

Reception
Reception – 9th August, Saturday, 5:00 PM IST onwards
The evening begins with a grand and traditional welcome for the groom and his family by the bride’s family, with garlands, flowers, and festive cheer. This is followed by a sacred pooja conducted by a priest, during which the groom’s parents present new attire to the bride, and the bride’s parents do the same for the groom.
Once dressed in these ceremonial outfits, the official reception commences. We will be welcomed on stage with celebratory music and joyful rituals, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony. A lively photo session will take place with all our friends, relatives, and well-wishers, capturing blessings and memories.
Guests will enjoy welcome snacks upon arrival and later indulge in a traditional South Indian dinner featuring regional delicacies. The evening will also include dance performances by our close friends and family, candid photography, and a special couple shoot for our wedding album.
Marriage
Wedding Ceremony – 10th August, Sunday, from 2:00 AM to 8:30 AM
Our wedding day begins in the early hours of the morning with traditional South Indian rituals. At 2:00 AM, the groom (Kushwanth) will perform sacred ceremonies symbolizing his eligibility and readiness for marriage. Meanwhile, the bride (Chandana Priya) takes part in the Gouri Pooja, a devotional ritual seeking blessings for a harmonious and prosperous married life.
Following this, the groom is welcomed by the bride’s family with respectful rituals, including the symbolic washing of his feet and a formal invitation to marry their daughter.
The main wedding ceremony then begins, filled with age-old Telugu customs, sacred chants, and meaningful moments, culminating by 8:30 AM. After this, a delicious traditional South Indian breakfast will be served to all guests.
Post-marriage rituals will follow, and eventually, the groom ceremonially takes his bride to begin their new journey together.
