After the planned events, everyone joins in on the dance floor to enjoy popular Telugu and Bollywood songs. It’s a night full of laughter, energy, and bonding between both families. MARRIAGE
A Telugu marriage is a sacred and vibrant celebration filled with tradition and rituals. The ceremony begins with Mangala Snanam (holy bath) and is followed by Ganapati Puja. The bride and groom are dressed in traditional attire and sit facing each other with a curtain (terrapata) between them. At the auspicious muhurtham, the curtain is removed, and the groom ties the mangalsutra around the bride’s neck in three knots, symbolizing their union. They exchange garlands (jeelakarra bellam ritual) and perform the sacred seven steps (Saptapadi) around the fire, taking vows of love and duty. The ceremony is filled with Vedic chants, blessings from elders, and joyful moments with family. It’s a beautiful blend of culture, love, and lifelong commitment.

RECEPTION
The Reception is a grand and joyful celebration held after the wedding ceremony, usually in the evening. It’s a time for the newlywed couple to be introduced and blessed by extended family, friends, and well-wishers. The bride and groom dress in elegant attire—often a saree and sherwani or gown and suit—and stand together on stage to greet guests. Everyone offers their blessings, gifts, and takes photos with the couple. The event is filled with music, beautiful decor, and a festive atmosphere. A delicious multi-course dinner is served, featuring traditional Telugu dishes and sweets. Unlike the formal rituals of the wedding, the reception is more relaxed and focused on celebration, laughter, and making joyful memories with loved ones.
