Harsh & Sakshi's story
We first met in what seemed like an ordinary moment, but looking back, it feels like fate was quietly at work. Simple chats turned into hours of laughter, shared dreams, and a deep understanding of each other’s quirks. Somewhere between casual hellos and endless talks, we found not just love, but a best friend for life. Today, one of us works in Strategy, the other in Brand Curation, balancing the chaos of work with the calm we find in each other. At 33 and 30, we’re still learning, growing, and filling life with patience, adventure, and humour. Our wedding is more than our union — it’s a celebration with everyone who’s been part of our journey. We can’t wait to share laughter, happy tears, and unforgettable moments with you, because happiness is real only when shared.

Haldi and Mehandi
In Marwadi weddings, the Haldi and Mehndi ceremonies are vibrant, joy-filled pre-wedding rituals. Haldi involves applying a paste of turmeric, sandalwood, and rose water to the bride and groom for glowing skin and blessings but this time will be done only with flowers. Family and friends playfully smear haldi, often accompanied by folk songs, dhol, and laughter. Mehndi is a colorful affair where intricate henna designs are applied to the bride’s hands and feet, symbolizing beauty and love. Women dress in bright lehengas, sing traditional mehndi geet, and dance to Rajasthani folk tunes. Both events overflow with warmth, tradition, and celebration, marking the start of marital bliss.
Cocktail party
In Marwadi weddings, the cocktail party blends tradition with modern celebration. It’s an evening of glamour, music, and mingling. Guests dress in stylish gowns, sherwanis, or Indo-western attire, while the venue sparkles with elegant décor and mood lighting. The event features a lavish spread of food, premium drinks, and upbeat music — from Bollywood hits to live bands or DJs. Friends and family take the stage for fun performances, dance-offs, and heartfelt toasts for the couple. It’s a night of laughter, bonding, and joy, setting the tone for the grand wedding ahead.

Wedding
A Marwadi wedding is a grand celebration steeped in royal Rajputana tradition, vibrant colors, and heartfelt rituals. The wedding day begins with the Baraat, where the groom arrives on a horse or in a grand procession, greeted by the bride’s family in Toran and Aarti rituals. The ceremony takes place under a beautifully decorated mandap, with sacred customs like Phera and Kanyadaan. Guests wear regal attire — women in ornate lehengas and men in bandhgala or sherwani. Lavish Rajasthani feasts, folk music, and dances like Ghoomar fill the air with joy. The celebration reflects opulence, deep family bonds, and age-old traditions, making it an unforgettable union of love and culture.
