Rohit & Trishna's story
Nine years ago, at our very first jobs, destiny tried to introduce us.
A shy Tamil boy spotted a lift full of girls, panicked, and ran for the stairs. One of those girls, a spirited half-Malayali, half-Bengali girl, watched him and thought, “Eww, I’m never talking to this person!” Little did she know, she was very wrong. 😂
Working for the same client brought us closer. Casual conversations became friendship, endless chats became memories, and somewhere along the way, friendship quietly turned into love.
He found joy in her energy. She found comfort in his quiet care.
Even when he left the company, distance only made us realise what we had been avoiding — we were never just friends.
For years, we called each other “Buddy.”
Today, our families will happily agree that we’re still the same two kids at heart. The only difference?
We’re getting married. ❤️
Come celebrate with us as two best friends begin their greatest adventure yet — being buddies for life.

Nischayathartham
The traditional engagement ceremony, where both families formally come together to celebrate and confirm the couple’s marriage. It is a joyful exchange of blessings, gifts and rings, marking the formal commitment to the wedding.

Muhurtham
Kasi Yatra
A playful ritual where the groom symbolically decides to leave worldly life and travel to Kashi to pursue a life of spirituality. The bride’s father stops him and reminds him of the joys and responsibilities of married life, convincing him to return and marry the bride. 😄
Oonjal
A beautiful ceremony where the bride and groom sit together on a decorated swing. Family members surround them with songs, blessings and traditional rituals, symbolising the couple beginning their journey together while being supported by their families.
Muhurtham
The main wedding ceremony, when the bride and groom are officially united in marriage. The most auspicious moment, or muhurtham, is chosen according to tradition, and the groom ties the sacred thali around the bride’s neck, marking the beginning of their married life.
