The mehendi ceremony is an integral part of Indian weddings and festivals. It is a traditional pre-wedding ritual that involves the application of henna on the hands and feet of the groom, creating intricate and beautiful designs.

The groom leaves his home with his baraat (wedding procession) heading towards the wedding venue with his friends and relatives in tow. Once at the venue, the precession will commence will dhol players, a band or both to announce the arrival of the groom, his family and his friends.

The Walima is a wedding reception or feast that takes place after the Nikah, or marriage ceremony, in an Islamic wedding. It is a celebration of the couple's union and a symbol of domestic happiness in their new household.
