Digvijay & Neha's story
Our marriage is a beautiful journey that began with a single proposal — the very first one for both of us — and it turned into a heartfelt "yes" the moment we met.
We’re excited to celebrate an arranged marriage that feels like destiny, bringing together the vibrant traditions of two distinct states. As proud members of the Lohar community, rooted in the divine legacy of Lord Vishvakarma, this wedding promises to be a unique and meaningful union of cultures, rituals, and love.

Haldi
The Haldi ceremony is a joyful pre-wedding ritual held a day before the wedding. A paste of turmeric, sandalwood, and rosewater is applied to the bride and groom by loved ones. It’s believed to purify, protect, and bless the couple with good fortune and glowing skin. The event is filled with laughter, music, and traditions that bring everyone together. Dress Code: Yellow — symbolizing happiness and new beginnings — is the color of the day for all guests.

Gadi Lohar Samaj Wedding – A Union of Traditions and Legacy
Weddings in the Gadi Lohar Samaj are deeply rooted in tradition, reflecting the community's rich cultural heritage and values. The ceremonies are vibrant, filled with sacred rituals passed down through generations, honoring Lord Vishvakarma as the divine ancestor.
The wedding involves traditional customs like toran bandhna, baraat, pheras around the sacred fire, and blessings from elders. Music, folk songs, and community gatherings add a festive charm. The attire is often traditional with rich ethnic elements, reflecting pride in their roots.
A Gadi Lohar wedding is not just a union of two souls, but a celebration of identity, craftsmanship, and spiritual connection — where the blessings of ancestors and the strength of the community make the bond even more special.
