In this event, the groom’s family visits the bride’s house, adorning her with gifts and what she will wear on the main wedding. The groom’s mother puts sindoor for the first time on the bride’s forehead denoting the marriage to be finalised and accepted. Lots of traditional food and love and laughter to follow

The bride receives guests as she prepares herself and waits for the grooms arrival later in the night, when the wedding ritual will happen. The reception starts at 4pm in the evening and will continue till 8:30pm. The groom will arrive at around 10:30pm when he will be welcomed by a traditional bihu and dhol performance. He will be loved and brought to the mandap. And then the ritualistic part of the wedding will start which takes place for around 2hours. There will be food music throughout the night.
