For our international friends, don't worry about a thing! Having traveled the world, we speak English and a bit of multiple European languages, so communication will be effortless. We are bringing you to the breathtaking mountains of Uttarakhand, India, for a traditional wedding celebration! πŸ”οΈπŸŽΆ Expect vibrant local folk music, authentic Pahadi dancers, and rich cultural rituals. To make your trip stress-free, every single ceremony, your stay, and all meals will happen in the exact same venue. No navigating hectic traffic or moving places. Just pure celebration. Haldi
The Haldi ceremony is a vibrant, pre-wedding ritual where a bright yellow paste made of turmeric, sandalwood, oil, and water is applied to the bride and groom. In Uttarakhand, this ceremony is deeply rooted in local traditions. The Yellow Dress Code: It is a highly photogenic, joyous event where guests usually wear yellow or bright traditional clothing.Playful Celebrations: It quickly turns into a fun party where guests playfully smear haldi on each other, followed by dancing to local folk beats.
Sangeet
After the lunch sangeet will start. Our Sangeet function is all about warmth, music, and cozy daytime vibes! β˜€οΈπŸŽΆ Unlike massive, loud parties, we are keeping things beautifully intimate. Imagine a sunny afternoon gathering where our favorite people come together under the open sky to celebrate. There are no stressful competitions or formal stages hereβ€”just a small, loving circle of family and friends dancing one by one, sharing laughter, and enjoying the music. We will be blending modern beats with the soulful rhythms of traditional Uttarakhand folk music. It is the perfect, relaxed setting to mingle, enjoy incredible food, soak in the mountain sunshine, and share a dance with us. 🌾✨
Mehandi
As the sun sets over the mountains, our third celebration of the day beginsβ€”the Mehndi ceremony! 🌿✨ In a beautifully relaxed evening gathering, the bride will have intricate henna designs applied to her hands and feet. For our international guests, this is a beautiful ritual symbolizing love, good fortune, and prosperity. While the henna stains a deep, beautiful red, the evening is all about unwinding together under the twilight sky. There will be soft lighting, gentle music playing in the background, delicious evening snacks, and a cozy space to chat, laugh, and relax after a day filled with dancing and celebration. It is the perfect, peaceful wrap to an unforgettable day. πŸŒ™πŸ’š
