About the hosts
Vignesh & vishnupriya's story
They were best friends at 23 and 24—always together, skipping office, sharing food, shopping for brides-to-be, and roaming markets for no reason. Everyone asked what was between them. They just smiled, saying, “Nothing, just friends.” But their eyes told another story. Then one day, something shifted—a glance held longer, a heartbeat skipped, the world blurred, and everything clicked. No dramatic confessions, just unspoken feelings that deepened quietly. Seven years passed—filled with laughter, fights, tears, and endless growth. They knew each other deeply, stood by each other always. Now, as they step into marriage, it’s not a new beginning—it’s a celebration of everything they’ve already built. From best friends to soulmates, still playful, still protective, still choosing each other. Love didn’t happen all at once. It grew, silently, steadily—and that made it magic.

A Tamil wedding is a beautiful blend of tradition, love, and joy. It begins with Nichayathartham (engagement), where both families confirm the match. On the wedding day, Mangala Snanam purifies the bride and groom. The fun Kashi Yatra follows, where the groom jokingly renounces worldly life until the bride’s father convinces him to marry. In Kanyadaanam, the bride’s parents offer her hand to the groom with blessings. The key moment is Mangalya Dharanam, when the groom ties the sacred thali around the bride’s neck, sealing their bond. They take Saptapadi, seven sacred steps, promising a life together. Arundhati Nakshatram is shown to inspire lasting unity. After rituals, Nalangu brings fun games, laughter, and warmth. Each step honors family, culture, and the sacred journey of two souls becoming one.
