Jagannath & Nikitha's story
Nine years ago, Nikitha and Jagannath found each other, and what began as a young love story grew into a beautiful journey of friendship, love, laughter, challenges, dreams, and countless memories. Through every chapter, we chose each other, and now we are excited to begin our forever together. Nikitha is an Andhranatyam dancer and teacher, deeply connected to the rich classical traditions of South India, while Jagannath has been her constant companion and greatest support throughout this journey. Our wedding is a celebration of love, family, tradition, and togetherness. We would be delighted to welcome friends from around the world to India and share the joy of our beautiful Telugu wedding with you. Come experience our traditions, music, dance, food, laughter, and celebrations, and be part of a memory we will cherish forever. From nine years of “us” to a lifetime together. ❤️

Edhurukolu
In many Telugu Brahmin weddings, Edurukolu is associated with Kāśī Yātra. The groom playfully acts as though he is giving up worldly life and leaving for Kāśī. The bride's brother or another relative stops him and reminds him of Gṛhastha āśrama, inviting him to return and enter married life. He is then welcomed back toward the mandapam

Wedding
Our Telugu Brahmin wedding is a celebration rooted in ancient Vedic traditions, where every ritual has a meaning. From welcoming the groom and joining the families to exchanging vows before the sacred fire, the ceremonies represent companionship, mutual respect, family and a lifelong commitment. Alongside the sacred rituals are joyful traditions like Talambralu, beautiful music, traditional attire and plenty of moments for our families and friends to celebrate together.
