We were in same city Itanagar, we knew each other by common friend, initially there was nothing but after college we just started talking to each other and realised that we have many things in common which attracted us, but we never were together in the same city after school, it was always a long distance, there were ups and downs but we managed the hurdles and given importance to the relationship, in the meantime our family came to know about us and they were eagerly wanted us to get married and now it's happening...

Mahendi function
The Mehendi ceremony is a pre-wedding ritual in Indian weddings where henna is applied to the bride’s hands and feet, often with intricate designs. It is a fun and festive event filled with music, dance, and celebrations, usually attended by close family and friends. The groom’s name is often hidden within the henna patterns for him to find later. The darker the henna stain, the stronger the bond is believed to be between the couple.

Adhibhas
Adhibas is a traditional Bengali pre-wedding ritual performed separately at both the bride’s and groom’s homes. It involves invoking blessings from ancestors and deities for a prosperous and happy marriage. Sacred items like mango leaves, turmeric, and rice are used in the ceremony. The ritual is usually held a day before the wedding and signifies the sanctification of the marriage proceedings,
Here mainly the women make the bride wear all the jwellery mainly the Sakha and Pola which is very main ritual of Bengalis, Also from the groom side they will bring gifts for the bride so that she can get ready for her wedding day.
Followed by dhamail( traditional dance of east bengal)

Haldi
Jol Bhora Haldi is a significant pre-wedding ritual in Bengali weddings, similar to the Haldi ceremony in other Indian traditions. In this ritual, married women (usually relatives of the bride or groom) fetch sacred water from a nearby pond or river in pitchers, which is then used to prepare a turmeric paste. This paste is applied to the bride and groom separately at their respective homes. The ceremony is believed to purify and bless them for their new journey, enhancing their beauty and bringing good fortune. It is a joyful event filled with laughter, music, and playful moments.
Wedding
Wedding reception with start at 7 pm where all guest will come to bless the bride, in the meantime the batati( grooms family) will come and eventually the wedding rituals will be done in that night with mantras, the groom and bride will be united forever
Bidai
Next day morning, one more event is there know as Baashi biye, where the groom will again marry the bride in daylight with witnessing the god sun, followed by lunch and evening bride will leave for grooms home
