Mudit & Radhika's story
When we met on 28th Nov ‘24, what I thought was just another meeting turned into the best day of my life. In our both meetings, we shared our hobbies and choices and we both were amazed by how much similar we were. Since that day, we had many deep conversations and this feeling just kept growing. I’m sure that I feel like this universe was preparing me for her and as our special day is approaching, my belief about this is just getting stronger and stronger ever.
Please join us on our wedding day as we celebrate our bond and tie our lives together from here to beyond!!

Haldi
The Haldi ceremony, often celebrated before Indian weddings, is a joyful pre-wedding ritual filled with color, music, and tradition. Also known as the turmeric ceremony, it involves applying a paste made from turmeric, sandalwood, rosewater, and other natural ingredients to the bride and groom’s skin. This paste is believed to bless the couple, ward off evil spirits, and give a radiant glow before the big day. Family and friends gather to sing traditional songs, dance, and playfully smear the couple with the yellow paste. In many modern celebrations, this ceremony turns into a lively carnival-like event, complete with vibrant décor, floral arrangements, and water play.
Sangeet
The Sangeet ceremony is a vibrant and musical pre-wedding celebration in Indian culture. The word "Sangeet" means "music," and the event is a night of singing, dancing, and joyous performances by family and friends of the bride and groom. Traditionally, it was a women-only gathering, but modern Sangeets have become grand, inclusive events where both families come together to celebrate. Expect dazzling outfits, choreographed dances, heartfelt speeches, and a festive ambiance filled with love and laughter. The Sangeet serves as a bonding moment between the two families and sets the tone for the upcoming wedding.
After Party
The after-party in Indian weddings is a lively, informal celebration that follows the main wedding events. It's a modern twist where close friends and younger guests gather to dance, enjoy music, and unwind after days of traditional rituals. Often featuring DJs, cocktails, and a relaxed vibe, it blends Indian hospitality with global party culture.

Pheras and Varmala
The Pheras and Varmala are two of the most significant rituals in a traditional Indian wedding. The Varmala ceremony marks the beginning of the wedding, where the bride and groom exchange floral garlands, symbolizing acceptance and mutual respect. It's often a playful and emotional moment, accompanied by cheers and celebration. Following this is the sacred Pheras ceremony, where the couple walks around a holy fire (Agni) seven times, each round representing a vow they make to one another—promising love, fidelity, support, and companionship. These seven steps are the spiritual and legal heart of the marriage in Hindu tradition. The fire is considered a divine witness to the vows.
Reception
The wedding reception in Indian weddings is a grand post-wedding celebration traditionally hosted by the groom’s family. It’s a formal event where extended family and friends come together to congratulate the newlyweds. Expect lavish décor, traditional and modern music and a delicious feast showcasing regional cuisine.
