Title: Witness a Royal Rajputi Love Story: The Wedding of Ravi & Soniya Our Story: From Tradition to True Love "We are Ravi and Soniya. While our journey began as a traditional arranged marriage fixed two years ago, time turned our commitment into a deep, soulful bond. Over these two years, we’ve grown from strangers to best friends and life partners. I am 22, working as an Electrical Engineer at Adani Green Energy Ltd., and my beautiful bride-to-be, Soniya, is 21 and currently pursuing her studies. Together, we represent the blend of modern India with roots deeply embedded in our heritage." The Experience: A Glimpse into Royal Rajasthan "Our wedding on March 12th isn’t just a ceremony; it’s a celebration of the legendary Rajputi culture. Haldi
The Haldi Ceremony: The Golden Glow "The Haldi (Turmeric) ceremony is one of our most vibrant and joyful pre-wedding rituals. In this ancient tradition, a sacred paste of turmeric, sandalwood, and oils is applied to the groom’s face and body by their family and friends. Why we do it: Blessings & Purification: The golden turmeric is believed to purify the soul and ward off any evil eye before the wedding. The Wedding Glow: It acts as a natural beautification ritual to give us a radiant glow for our big day! What to expect: Expect a lot of laughter, traditional folk songs, and everyone getting doused in yellow! It’s a playful and messy affair where we celebrate the joy of upcoming union. Join us: Dress in your favorite yellow outfits and get ready to smear some Haldi on us! We want you to be part of this 'sun-kissed' celebration as we soak in the blessings of our elders."
Sangeet night
The Groom’s Sangeet: A Village Folk Night "Before the big day, my home and village come alive with the Groom’s Sangeet. This is an exclusive celebration for my family and friends—a night of music and joy on the Groom’s side. The Experience: Authentic Roots: Experience raw Rajasthani folk music and traditional dances under the stars. Village Celebration: It’s a soulful gathering of our local community to celebrate my final night before the wedding. Join the Dance: We invite you to join our circle, feel the rhythm of the DJ night with DJ floor and Dj lights and experience the true warmth of Rajputi brotherhood.

Mayra
The Mayra: A Celebration of Maternal Bonds The Mayra (also known as Bhaat) is one of the most emotional and significant rituals in a Rajputi wedding. It celebrates the sacred bond between a mother and her brothers. The Ritual: My Maternal Uncles (Mamas) arrive from their village with great pomp and show, . They bring 'Mayra'—a grand offering of clothes, jewelry, and gifts for my mother and our entire family. This gesture symbolizes their lifelong support and love for their sister’s household during this big milestone. The Experience: Royal Welcome: You will see us welcoming the maternal side with traditional tilak and respect. Folk Traditions: Watch the beautiful exchange of gifts and the singing of traditional 'Bhaat' songs by the village women. Note: As with all our rituals, we maintain a dignified 'Maryada'. We kindly ask guests to observe the ceremony respectfully, maintaining a graceful distance from the ladies involved in the rituals. For mens mostly
