Mohit & Manisha's story
Our story isn’t a perfect fairy tale—and that’s what makes it ours. ❤️
I’m Manisha, and he is Mohit. Somewhere along the way, what started as two people getting to know each other became a bond we couldn’t imagine our lives without. We laughed together, made countless memories, dreamed about our future, and slowly realised that we wanted to face life side by side.
Our journey hasn’t always been easy. We’ve been through misunderstandings, difficult moments, family challenges and times when the future felt uncertain. But through all the chaos, we kept finding our way back to each other. We chose love, patience and hope instead of giving up.
On 9 May 2026, we got engaged and took one more step towards the life we had imagined together.
Now, we’re ready to turn our “us” into a forever.
We can’t wait to welcome you to India and celebrate our love with you through the colours, traditions, music, food and beautiful chaos of an Indian wedding! ❤️

Haldi
Haldi is one of the most joyful and playful traditions of an Indian wedding!
Before the wedding, the bride and groom have a special ceremony where family and friends apply a paste made mainly from turmeric (haldi) to them. Traditionally, turmeric is considered auspicious and is believed to bring blessings, happiness and good fortune to the couple as they begin their married life.

Starting time (approximately): 12:00 PM (noon)

Mehendi
Mehendi is one of the most beautiful and artistic traditions of an Indian wedding. Before the wedding, the bride and her loved ones gather for an evening filled with music, laughter, dancing and celebration.
Beautiful designs made from natural henna are carefully applied to the bride’s hands and feet. The patterns often include flowers, traditional motifs, and sometimes hidden initials or names of the bride and groom. ❤️
Mehendi is traditionally considered a symbol of love, prosperity and good fortune for the couple. There is also a lovely tradition that says the darker the mehendi stain, the deeper the love between the couple!
For our guests, this is a chance to relax, enjoy Indian music and food, try some mehendi themselves, and experience one of the most colourful and intimate parts of an Indian wedding.
Come ready to dance, celebrate and get your hands beautifully decorated! 🌿✨

Wedding ceremony
The wedding ceremony is the heart of an Indian wedding—a beautiful celebration of love, family and the beginning of a new journey together.
Our ceremony will follow traditional Hindu wedding rituals, with the bride and groom surrounded by their families and loved ones. One of the most important moments is the Saat Phere, where we walk around the sacred fire seven times, with each round representing a promise we make to each other for our life together.
You will also witness beautiful traditions such as the exchange of garlands, sacred prayers and blessings from our families. Each ritual has its own meaning, but together they represent love, commitment, respect, companionship and a promise to stand beside one another through every chapter of life.
For us, this isn't simply the day we get married—it is the day two people, two families and two lives officially become one.
We can't wait to share this incredibly special moment with you. ❤️✨
