Over time, we realized that our hearts were aligned, and our future was destined to be shared. Now, we're excited to celebrate our love with a memorable 3-day wedding event. Our wedding is more than just a ceremony; it's a celebration of love, family, and tradition. We are delighted to invite you through this platform to be part of our three-day celebration. It all begins with Jaggo and Sangeet on 5 December 2024, followed by the wedding ceremony on 6 December 2024, and concluding with the grand reception on 7 December 2024, where we'll celebrate with a huge crowd of friends and family. Jaggo & Sangeet – A Night of Dance and Joy
Our celebration begins with two lively Punjabi traditions: Jaggo and Sangeet. Jaggo, meaning "wake up," is an exciting event where family members carry decorated pots lit with candles, singing and dancing through the streets to announce the upcoming wedding. It's a night filled with folk songs, dhol beats, and community celebration. Following Jaggo, the Sangeet brings both families together for a vibrant night of music and dancing. Relatives perform traditional dances, sing Boliyan, and celebrate with bhangra moves. The evening is full of laughter, joyful performances, and the energetic spirit of Punjabi culture, setting the perfect tone for the days ahead.

Wedding
On the second day, the Baraat begins with the groom’s family dancing and celebrating as they travel to the bride’s home or wedding venue. The groom, often riding a decorated horse, is accompanied by family and friends in a joyous procession filled with dhol beats and vibrant dancing. Upon arrival, the bride’s family warmly welcomes the groom’s party in the Milni ceremony, symbolizing the unification of both families. The wedding ceremony takes place at the Gurudwara Sahib with the sacred Anand Karaj ritual, where the bride and groom circle the Guru Granth Sahib four times, signifying their spiritual union. Hymns are sung, and blessings are bestowed upon the couple. After the ceremony, the emotional Vidaai marks the bride’s farewell to her family as she joins the groom's household, surrounded by love and blessings. This day captures the essence of Punjabi culture, blending joy, spirituality, and deep family connections.
