The wedding ceremony is a deeply significant and sacred occasion. Depending on the culture, it may involve religious rituals, prayers, and vows exchanged by the bride and groom. The ceremony could include: Vows and Blessings: The couple may exchange vows or promises to each other, signifying their commitment. Religious Rituals: In Hindu weddings, for example, rituals like the Saat Phere (seven rounds around the sacred fire) take place. The fire represents purity, and each round symbolizes a different vow for the couple’s future. The bride's hands and feet are decorated with intricate henna (Mehendi) designs, which are applied by professional artists or family members. The groom may also get a small design applied to his hand. In this joyful and vibrant ceremony, turmeric (Haldi) paste is applied to the bride and groom's body, face, and sometimes even hair. This is done by family members, usually starting with close relatives.
