About the hosts
Tejas & Sakshi's story
Our story began in school as a simple friendship filled with shared notes, laughter, and dreams. Over the years, that friendship quietly blossomed into love. Growing up together allowed us to understand, support, and believe in each other through every phase of life.
Life later took us to different countries—he moved to Australia to pursue his career, while I continued my journey in India. Though miles and time zones separated us, our hearts stayed connected. Long-distance wasn’t easy, but with trust, patience, and endless video calls, we grew stronger every day.
As proud Maharashtrians, deeply rooted in our culture and values, we are now excited to begin our forever together, celebrating our union through beautiful Maharashtrian rituals, surrounded by love and blessings. ❤️

Haldi
Our Haldi ceremony will be a vibrant celebration filled with love, laughter, and tradition. As per Maharashtrian rituals, both the bride and groom will be seated gracefully like a king and queen, symbolizing the honor and joy of this beautiful phase of life. Family members will apply turmeric paste with blessings for happiness, prosperity, and a glowing new beginning. Amidst the rituals, there will be playful moments, cheerful teasing, music, and lots of fun as everyone joins in to make the ceremony unforgettable.
Barat
Our Barat will be nothing short of a grand celebration — a night full of music, lights, and unstoppable energy! It will be a vibrant DJ night where beats meet tradition and every heart dances with joy. Both the bride and groom will make a royal entry, seated proudly on beautifully adorned horses, symbolizing strength, honor, and the beginning of our new journey together.
Surrounded by our families and loved ones, the entire baraat will turn into one big dance floor. From energetic moves to joyful laughter, everyone will celebrate together, creating unforgettable memories as two families come together in pure happiness and festive spirit.

Wedding
Our wedding will be a graceful celebration of love, tradition, and royal elegance. Surrounded by sacred mantras and the blessings of our elders, we will begin our forever through beautiful Maharashtrian rituals that symbolize unity and lifelong commitment. Every moment will reflect our culture, our journey, and the love that brought us here.
The Varmala ceremony will be a magical highlight of the evening. With a grand royal entry, we will arrive like a king and queen, welcomed by music, lights, and joyful cheers. As we exchange garlands, it will mark the acceptance of each other as life partners, sealing our bond with love, respect, and happiness.
Saptapadi
The Saptapadi is the most sacred and meaningful moment of our wedding ceremony. As we take seven holy steps together around the sacred fire, each step represents a promise we make to one another for a lifetime. These vows symbolize nourishment, strength, prosperity, happiness, family, harmony, and everlasting friendship.
With every step, we commit to stand by each other in all phases of life — in joy and in challenges, in success and in struggle. The Saptapadi marks not just a ritual, but the true beginning of our journey as husband and wife, bound by love, trust, and shared dreams for the future.
