Manoj Raj & Divya's story
As I stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my dupatta for what felt like the hundredth time, I couldn't help but think about the journey that had brought me to this moment. My wedding day. It was an arranged marriage, just like my parents had always wanted. I had met my fiancé, Rohan, only a handful of times before we decided to take the plunge. But there was something about him that put me at ease - his kind eyes, his warm smile, his gentle mannerisms. As I made my way downstairs, the sound of laughter and music filled the air. Our residence was buzzing with activity, with relatives and friends milling about, chatting and catching up. The decorations were beautiful - intricate flowers and greenery adorned the walls and ceilings, and the smell of incense wafted through the air.

Haldi
The smell of turmeric and sandalwood filled the air, and the sound of laughter and chatter created a joyful atmosphere. My cousins and friends took turns applying the Haldi paste, making sure to cover every inch of my skin. manoj, my fiancé from the Medabalimi family, was also undergoing the same ritual in another part of the house. I couldn't wait to see him with his Haldi-adorned skin. As the ceremony came to an end, I felt a sense of calm and serenity wash over me. The Haldi paste was believed to bring good luck and ward off evil spirits, and I felt grateful to be surrounded by so much love and positivity. With the Haldi ceremony complete, we were one step closer to the wedding day. I couldn't wait to marry Manoj and start our new life together.

Wedding
The day of the wedding finally arrived, and our residence was transformed into a stunning wedding venue. I, Divya, was dressed in a beautiful red saree, adorned with intricate gold jewelry and a delicate mangalsutra. As I made my way to the mandap, I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions - excitement, nervousness, and happiness. My fiancé, Manoj, from the Medabalimi family, was already seated at the mandap, looking dashing in his white sherwani.
