Praveen & Priyadarshini's story
I was selected for an MBA course in London, where life's twists brought me to Praveen—my family’s close friend’s son who was working there. With a little nudge from our families, we were introduced online. Neither of us had high expectations, but our first call lasted five hours, and from that moment, we were inseparable. We explored every kind of date imaginable—laughing, dreaming, and making memories that blurred the passage of time. Coincidentally, we both proposed to each other on the same day and it was a "Yes"! With our families’ blessings, we’re thrilled to announce our wedding date: 17th August 2025. We warmly invite you to join us on this joyous occasion to celebrate love, laughter, and new beginnings. Your presence would mean the world to us! “Love brought us together, and your blessings complete the picture.”

Mayraa
The Mayraa ceremony, also known as Bhaat, holds deep cultural and emotional significance in Indian weddings, especially in Rajasthani and Marwari traditions. It is a beautiful ritual that celebrates the bond between the maternal uncle (Mama) and his niece or nephew, symbolising his blessings, love, and support for the bride or groom as they embark on a new journey. The uncle and his family arrive with much fanfare, often accompanied by music and dancing. Prayers and blessings are offered to seek divine grace for the couple's happiness and prosperity. The event is filled with music, dance, and delicious food, creating a festive and lively atmosphere. The Mayraa ceremony is not just a ritual but a heartfelt expression of love and support, making it a cherished part of Indian wedding traditions.
wedding
The groom arrives with his family, accompanied by music, dancing where bride's family playfully greets them with rituals, garlands, and a dash of humor, often involving cheeky customs like stopping the groom’s entry until certain “conditions” are met. It’s a lively and heartwarming moment that sets the tone for the day Next comes the varmala ceremony, where the bride and groom exchange floral garlands. This act symbolises acceptance, respect, and the beginning of their journey as equals. The pheras are the most sacred part of the wedding, where the bride and groom take seven vows around a holy fire. Each phera signifies a specific promise they make to each other, encompassing aspects like love, commitment, companionship, mutual respect, and fidelity. The fire acts as a witness to their union, and the priest recites mantras to bless the couple. The bride and groom walk hand in hand, cementing their bond with every step. The evening unfolds into a grand dinner for all the guests
