Traditional Songs & Dhol • Women in the family sing traditional wedding songs, creating a festive vibe. • If there’s a dhol (drum), it adds to the excitement with dancing and clapping. 4. Rituals & Blessings • The elders bless the bride for happiness, prosperity, and a smooth wedding.
Marriage 21.05.2025
Our wedding is a beautiful blend of Indian traditions and celebrating love, culture, and togetherness. The festivities begin with the groom’s grand Baraat procession, followed by the bride’s graceful Kanya Aagaman. We exchange Jai Mala garlands as a symbol of acceptance before the sacred Kanyadaan, where the bride’s family entrusts her to the groom. We then take seven Mangal Pheras around the holy fire, making lifelong vows, after which the groom applies Sindoor and ties the Mangalsutra, sealing our bond. With blessings from elders (Ashirwad), the emotional Vidaai follows as the bride bids farewell to her family and enters her new home with a warm Griha Pravesh welcome. As a nod to we may include the Log-Sawing Ceremony, symbolizing teamwork in marriage. Our wedding is not just a union of two hearts but of two families and cultures, and we can’t wait to celebrate this special day with you!
