This ceremony is a time of joy and mutual greetings. Everyone enjoys singing and dancing, applying turmeric to each other,
Lagn sohla
The most eagerly awaited ceremony of the day, in which the bride and groom walk in Saptapadi accompanied by Dev Brahmins to support each other for seven births, and the community present bestows blessings of Akshata on the bride and groom.
