Subham & Lipika's story
My boyfriend and I have known each other since our days in Lower Kindergarten (LKG). Growing up together, we shared countless memories, from playful schoolyard antics to teenage adventures. Our friendship naturally blossomed into a deep and enduring love. After 13 wonderful years of dating, filled with laughter, challenges, and unwavering support, we are thrilled to be getting married this July. Our journey from childhood friends to life partners is a testament to the strength and beauty of our bond.

Wedding
Odia weddings, native to the Indian state of Odisha, are vibrant and culturally rich ceremonies steeped in tradition. The festivities typically span several days and include rituals like Nirbandha (engagement), Jholaphuta (invitation), and Kanyadaan (giving away of the bride). A distinctive feature is the Barajatri, the groom's grand procession to the bride's home, often accompanied by music and dancing. The wedding rituals are deeply symbolic, emphasizing the sanctity of marriage and the blending of two families. Traditional Odia cuisine and attire add to the celebratory atmosphere, making it a memorable and joyous occasion.
