We met 2 years ago in a friend's wedding in Chettinad in India. We kept texting sporadically while she pursued her PhD in Italy and I was running my startup in India. I decided to embark on a world tour across 14 countries for work, pleasure and two weddings. We kept in touch throughout the period and decided to give it a go once/if we are both in the same country. We met at another friends by accident in India after my trip. She asked me out on a date. We realised we are both at core very worldly but at the same time very Indian. This is surprising because I am British living in India for work and she's very Indian living in UK and Italy for education. We realised we have travelled extensively and lived across 24 cities across the world and kept missing each other in Colombia and Poland so it felt very cosmic. Since then, we have lived together in Denmark, celebrated Diwali in London, celebrated my birthday in Paris and proposed to each other in Berlin.
