About the hosts
Prashant & RIYA's story
DySP Prashant Kumar was posted in Ranchi, known for his no-nonsense attitude and a spotless record. He was everything the system needed — fearless, disciplined, and deeply loyal to his badge. Riya Sen was a bold and articulate criminal lawyer with a reputation for taking on cases no one dared touch. She believed in justice, not just law. The courts knew her voice; the media knew her name. Their first encounter wasn’t romantic — it was in a courtroom, on opposite sides of a sensational case involving a wrongful arrest. Riya was defending the accused; Prashant was the investigating officer. “Your investigation is biased and incomplete,” Riya argued confidently. Prashant, calm and composed, responded, “And your client is a known thug hiding behind legal loopholes.” The courtroom buzzed, but beneath the friction was a mutual spark neither acknowledged.
