The Haldi ceremony is a significant pre-wedding ritual in Indian culture where family and friends apply a paste of turmeric, oil, and water to the bride and groom. This sacred tradition, also known as Pithi or Mayian in various regions, is believed to bless the couple with prosperity and good luck.

A Vaidik Vivah is a sacred Hindu rite of passage binding two souls through profound, symbol-rich rituals performed around a holy fire ().
