Mehndi
The womenfolk apply henna on their hands and feet. The henna is considered a good omen, it also gives the red color to the hands and feet. In this ancient tradition, women get together and sing wedding songs . Food and Refreshments: As with any celebration, food plays a crucial role in every ceremony. Traditional dishes and sweets are served to guests, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Manjha / Haldi
It takes place two days before the wedding. The bride and groom wear yellow clothing in their respective homes and get smeared with a paste of turmeric and sandalwood in rosewater. Food and Refreshments: As with any celebration, food plays a crucial role in the Manjha ceremony. Traditional dishes and sweets are served to guests, adding to the festive atmosphere. Manjha ceremony is a cherished tradition in Muslim weddings, serving as a joyful prelude to the main wedding festivities and symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter in the life.

Nikah
Baraat- The Baraat is the procession that begins at the groom's residence and goes on till the wedding location. Nikah - Nikah is the central component of a Muslim wedding. It is the marriage contract that formalizes the union between the bride and groom. The ceremony takes place in the presence of an Islamic religious authority and witnesses. The couple exchanges vows and signs the marriage contract, making their union official according to Islamic law. Rukhsat- The bride bids farewell to her family. The father of the bride gives her hand to her husband, asking to protect her always. Welcoming the bride: When the bride is to enter the groom’s house, the groom’s mother holds a Quran over her head as she crosses the threshold of the front door.
