Pranab & Niladri's story
🌸 Our Story: From Childhood Crush to Soulmates 💍 The Beginning Our bond began in childhood. While I (Pranab) was in college, Niladri (Dola) was still a high schooler. To me, she was always a "little fairy." Over time, my fascination grew, and I soon discovered that Dola felt the exact same way. The Turning Point: May 6, 2022 The spark ignited when Dola visited my garden while I was away. When we later met, she playfully complained: "I went to your garden, but couldn't find you!" Seizing the chance, I gave her my number and said, "Call me before you come next time." That simple moment started our beautiful journey of love. Today I, Pranab Halder (Partha), have completed my degree in Agriculture Education, while Niladri (Dola) is pursuing her career in Dentistry. Our childhood affection has now blossomed into a sacred, lifelong commitment.

Baran & Ulu-dhwani: Married women perform Baran with a winnowing fan (Kula) and oil lamps, accompanied by the sacred sound of the Conch shell (Sankha) and Ululu. The Tattwa: Beautifully decorated trays (Gaye Holud Tattwa) containing clothes, sweets, and a decorated fish (symbolizing fertility and luck) are exchanged between your families. The Yellow Glow: You both wear yellow—symbolizing the sun and the blooming of your childhood love into a sacred bond.

The Holy Bath (Snana): You are bathed in sanctified water, symbolizing the washing away of your "single" life. The Tattwa: Elaborate gift trays are exchanged, featuring the traditional decorated fish—a symbol of prosperity and your roots in Agriculture. The Sounds: The air is filled with Sankha (Conch shells) and Ulu-dhwani to invite divine energy. 💍 Gathbandhan (The Sacred Knot) The Union: During the wedding ceremony, the groom’s shawl is literally tied to the bride’s saree. The Symbolism: This knot signifies that your two souls are now inseparable. Inside the knot, grains of Paddy (Dhan) are placed to ensure a "fruitful" and prosperous life together. The Vows: With the knot tied, you perform the Saptapadi (Seven Steps) around the sacred fire, promising to be lifelong friends and partners.
