About the hosts
Devpriyadharsan & Karishma's story
We are Devpriyadharsan B S and Karishma P, and our story began in the halls of Soundararaja Vidyalaya, where we shared the same classroom from Class 1 to 10. It was in Class 9 that Karishma made the first move, proposing to me, and by Class 10, I was sure she was the one.
Our paths diverged after school—Karishma went to Green Park for NEET coaching while I stayed in Dindigul for higher secondary. We reconnected in 2018, when I joined SRM for my B.Tech, and Karishma pursued her MBBS at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College. Our bond grew stronger, even more so during the nationwide lockdown, where daily calls and WhatsApp messages kept us close.
In 2022, we decided it was time to share our relationship with our families. With their blessings, we got engaged on January 23, 2024. Shortly after, I moved to Ireland to pursue my master's in Data Science, and Karishma completed her MBBS. Now, after years of love and perseverance, we are thrilled to be tying the knot on September 15, 2024.

Reception
Our reception will be an elegant and joyful evening where family and friends gather to celebrate our union. The night begins with our grand entrance, followed by a chance for guests to meet us, share their blessings, and capture memories with a photographer on hand.
The venue will be beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. A highlight of the evening will be a sumptuous South Indian feast, featuring traditional dishes with a unique Sourashtra twist.
Live music will set the tone for celebration, and the dance floor will be open for everyone to enjoy. We’ll also have a few surprises in store, including heartfelt speeches and fun couple’s games to keep the energy high.
This reception is not just about formality but about sharing love, joy, and creating lasting memories. We invite everyone to dress in their finest traditional attire and join us in making this evening truly special.

Sangeet
Our Sangeet is a vibrant and energetic celebration filled with music, dance, and joyous festivities. This evening is all about letting loose, having fun, and enjoying the spirit of togetherness. Guests can expect a beautifully decorated venue with a lively atmosphere where traditional and contemporary music will play throughout the night.
The event will kick off with choreographed performances by family and friends, showcasing the excitement of the upcoming wedding. After the performances, the dance floor will be open for everyone to join in and dance to their heart’s content. We’ll also have a few surprise performances and games to keep the energy high and the laughter flowing.
Delicious snacks and drinks will be served throughout the evening to keep everyone energized. This is the perfect time for everyone to mingle, celebrate, and create wonderful memories as we prepare for the big day.
