Bibin & Merlin's story
I’m Bibin, a radiographer, and she is Merlin, a caring nurse. We first met through Knanaya Matrimony, and from that moment, our journey together began to unfold with love and laughter. We’re both 27 years old, rooted in faith, tradition, and the warmth of family. We’re excited to be joined in holy matrimony through a Knanaya wedding—a beautiful, traditional ceremony rich in culture and rituals that reflect our deep Christian-Syrian heritage. The Knanaya wedding is more than just a ceremony — it's a heartfelt celebration of unity, love, and community. From the vibrant Chandam Charthal (beautification ceremony) to the sacred blessings of the Madhuram Veppu and the solemn grace of the church wedding, every ritual speaks of the bond between two souls and two families. 🌸 **We invite you, Let’s celebrate love, laughter, and lifelong memories — together! **With love,** **Bibin & Merlin

Engagement
Knanaya engagement, like the wedding, is full of meaning. It’s not just about exchanging rings. It’s a moment where two families come together. Where two hearts are officially joined in promise. Where blessings are shared. Where love is celebrated with tradition. Here’s what makes it special: The engagement begins with a formal blessing from our elders and priests. There will be a ring exchange — a symbol of our promise to one another. Prayers will be said, thanking God for bringing us together. Families will come together, share meals, and begin this journey as one. There will be music, laughter, and joyful celebration. This event is very dear to us. It is filled with meaning. It marks the start of our life together. And we cannot imagine celebrating it without you.

Chandan Chardhu
Knanaya wedding is full of meaning. It includes rituals passed down through generations. Each step has a purpose. Each ceremony brings blessings. It begins with the Chandam Charthal. This is a beautification ceremony. The bride and groom are prepared for marriage. It symbolizes inner and outer purity. It is filled with music, laughter, and blessings from family. Then comes the Madhuram Veppu. This is a sweet celebration. Sweets are prepared and blessed. It marks the start of a sweet married life. It is joyful and warm. Everyone gathers, sings, and shares the moment. The heart of our wedding is the church ceremony. We will take our vows before God. It is a holy moment. We will promise to love and cherish each other. It is not just a legal bond, but a sacred one

Knanaya Wedding
Knanaya community, our wedding is not only a joyful celebration but also a deeply meaningful event grounded in ancient tradition. The Knanaya are a unique and close-knit Christian group tracing their ancestry to the Jewish-Christian followers of Thomas of Cana, who settled in Kerala in the 4th century. Our community is known for its deep sense of tradition, family bonds, and cultural pride — all of which will be reflected in our wedding. A Knanaya wedding is a vibrant tapestry of rituals, each one symbolic of values like purity, love, unity, and spiritual grace. These traditions aren’t just ceremonial — they carry the blessings and stories of generations past, and offer prayers for a future built on faith and love. One of the first events leading to our wedding is the Chandam Charthal,a beautification ceremony for the bride and groom. This isn’t just about external beauty,it’s a moment of spiritual and emotional preparation, as we both get ready for the sanctity of marriage.
