Traditional Temple Blessing & DJ Night Celebration
In our traditional Maharashtrian wedding, we begin with a ritual called Gaavdev, where both families seek blessings from the village’s guardian deity. It’s our way of honoring our roots and asking for a smooth, blessed start to the celebrations. Another beautiful tradition is Payapadani, where we touch the feet of our elders to receive their blessings. It’s a simple yet powerful gesture that reflects respect, gratitude, and the importance of family. These rituals are not just customs—they represent the values and emotions that make our wedding journey truly meaningful.

Engagement Ceremony & Haldi Celebration
Engagement & Haldi Celebration is a joyful pre-wedding event where both families come together to officially begin the wedding festivities. During the Engagement (Ring Ceremony), the couple exchanges rings in the presence of family and friends, symbolizing their commitment and the coming union of two families. This is followed by the Haldi Ceremony, where a turmeric paste is applied to the bride and groom by their loved ones. This ritual is believed to purify, bless, and bring a natural glow before the wedding. The entire event is filled with laughter, music, dancing, and vibrant traditions, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for everyone involved.

Wedding Day
On the wedding day, the main marriage ceremony takes place, filled with sacred rituals and joyful celebrations. The groom arrives in a festive procession, often with music and dancing, and is warmly welcomed by the bride’s family. The couple then comes together under a decorated canopy (mandap) where traditional Vedic rituals are performed by a priest. These include exchanging garlands, tying the sacred thread, and taking seven vows around the holy fire, symbolizing their lifelong commitment to each other. Surrounded by family and friends, the ceremony blends spirituality, tradition, and celebration, marking the beginning of their new journey together as husband and wife.
