About the hosts
Manish & Manasa's story
We both met for the first time along with the families as part of traditions and fell in love while having our personal chat. We both spoke so well, like we already knew each other from ages ago. Our bond became so strong in a very short span, and we couldn't wait any longer to start our life. I really want you to be part of our wedding, have fun and bless us with all your heart.

Haldi
A haldi event is basically the wedding’s “sunrise ceremony” ☀️, where everything turns yellow, giggly, and slightly chaotic in the best way.
It’s a pre-wedding ritual where family and friends apply a paste of turmeric (haldi), usually mixed with curd/sandalwood/rose water, to the bride and groom. Traditionally it’s meant to bless them, ward off negativity, and give that “glow” (and yes, turmeric stains are part of the experience 😂).
What it feels like:
The vibe is playful and intimate at first, then it turns into a full-on ambush once cousins arrive.
Everyone’s wearing yellow, floral jewellery, and you’ll hear nonstop dhol beats, Bollywood songs, and “AYY HALDIIII!” energy.
Expect petal showers, selfies, and someone trying to sneak haldi onto people who are “just watching.”
Day 2Sunday, March 8, 2026Hyderabad
Starting time (approximately): 10:00 AM
Venue and host contact details will be disclosed upon booking.
Marriage
A marriage event in Hyderabad feels like the city itself showed up dressed in silk and gold, carrying a tray of biryani and a playlist that refuses to be quiet 😄✨
You’ll usually see a big, bright function hall or farmhouse venue, drenched in marigolds, jasmine strings, and fairy lights, with a stage that looks like a movie set. Guests arrive in waves. The band, dhol, or DJ sets the mood early, and by the time the main rituals start, the whole place is buzzing.
What makes a Hyderabad wedding feel “Hyderabad”:
Outfits: women in kanjeevarams, pattu sarees, lehengas, and heavy temple jewelry; men in sherwanis or crisp traditional wear. Expect lots of gajras, bangles, and shimmer everywhere.
Ritual energy: depending on the family, you might see Telugu wedding moments like pellikoduku/pellikuthuru, jeelakarra bellam, and rice showers. Many Hyderabad weddings blend cultures beautifully.
Food is a headline act: long buffet lines, relatives judging the spice level

Reception
A reception in Hyderabad feels like a glam night where the whole city decides to step out at once, dressed like it’s awards season, hungry like it’s a festival.
You usually walk into a big function hall with a massive LED-lit stage, flower arches, and a backdrop that screams “grand entry.” The couple stands under the spotlight in designer outfits, smiling through a steady stream of guests.
Photo first: everyone queues for stage pics. Aunties adjust dupattas, cousins go full Instagram mode.
Outfits go big: men in sharp suits or sherwanis; women in shimmering sarees and lehengas, with jewelry.
Food steals the show: a sprawling buffet with live counters, and Hyderabad favourites showing up like celebrity guests, often including biryani, rich curries, and a sweet ending.
Soundtrack: a DJ or live music, with sudden pockets of dancing when the “right song” hits and someone drags the shy people onto the floor.
The vibe: polished, festive, a little chaotic with lots of fun
