We had been friends for about a year, and as our friendship grew, we spent every day together, enjoying each other's company. Eight months into our friendship, I got a job that required me to move to another place. The thought of being apart was unsettling for both of us since we had never missed a single day of meeting up. On the day I was leaving for the job, we realized that what we had was more than just friendship—we were in love. We decided to discuss our feelings with our parents, and to our delight, they were supportive. Within a month, we were engaged, and this picture was taken on our engagement day. We are overjoyed that our dream of being together is coming true. We have chosen the beautiful Parthasarathy Temple in Aranmula, Pathanamthitta, Kerala as our wedding venue.
