Nandha & Geetha's story
Our wedding is being planned by our parents. In Tamil Nadu, arranged marriage is an important part of our culture, and we’re proud to be following this beautiful tradition. Our engagement was the first step, and it was successfully held on March 3, 2025. Now, we are joyfully preparing for our wedding! From the food and decorations to makeup and shopping—everything is in full swing. We would be delighted to invite you to our wedding and welcome you to experience the vibrant culture, rich traditions, and warmth of a Tamil wedding. It will be a great opportunity to explore our customs, taste authentic South Indian cuisine, enjoy traditional music and dance, and witness the colorful rituals that make our weddings so special. We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating this joyful occasion together!

Reception
In our reception, the bride will arrive at the wedding hall in the evening. As per our tradition, the bride’s brother will go to bring the groom with some rituals. The most exciting part is that the groom will make a grand entrance in a traditional bullock cart, a cultural highlight that adds charm and uniqueness to the event! When the groom arrives, the bride’s sister will perform the aarti (a welcoming ritual), but not without a playful twist—she will ask the groom for a gift before she lets him in. Our reception will be held from 7 PM to 9 PM, filled with joy, music, and celebration. Following that, our wedding rituals will begin—sacred ceremonies rich in meaning and tradition. We warmly invite you to witness and be a part of this colorful and emotional journey. It's not just a wedding, but a beautiful blend of tradition, love, and cultural experience you’ll never forget!

Marrige
The next day marks the most important part of our celebration—the wedding ceremony, where the bride and groom officially become husband and wife. The rituals start early at 7 AM, beginning with a unique tradition of cooking Pongal. The water from this is used for a symbolic bath for the couple, representing purity and blessings. At the auspicious time, the groom will tie the Thali around the bride’s neck—a deeply emotional and spiritual moment. After this, we continue with rituals, take family photos, and then start the celebration! Guests will enjoy a grand South Indian breakfast and a delicious lunch, prepared with love and authentic Tamil flavors. Finally, the bride and groom will leave for the groom’s home, beginning their new journey together. We warmly invite you to witness and celebrate this beautiful tradition with us!
