From laughter-filled conversations to supporting each other through life’s ups and downs, every step has brought us closer to this beautiful moment—the beginning of our forever.💍 Our Invitation 💍 We would be overjoyed to have you join us as we take this big step together. Your love, blessings, and presence will make our wedding even more memorable. As the saying goes: "Happiness is only real when shared." Haldi
💛 Haldi Ceremony Ritual Part: Turmeric paste is applied on the bride/groom by family & friends with music, folk songs, and blessings. Fun Part: Family members smear haldi on each other, laughter and playful moments everywhere. Vibe & Décor: Lots of marigold flowers, yellow drapes, ethnic seating, colorful umbrellas, and rangoli. Outfits: Yellow/white kurta for men, yellow lehenga/saree for women, often with floral jewellery for the bride. Food: Traditional snacks, sweets, and cooling drinks like chaas, lassi, or mocktails. 🏖️ Pool Party This is usually planned after the Haldi (or as a combined Haldi + Pool Bash). Entry & Music: Everyone shifts from ritual vibes to DJ, Bollywood beats, or dhol near the pool.
Mehndi
🌿 Mehndi Ceremony Highlights ✋ Rituals The bride’s hands and feet are decorated with henna designs (floral, paisley, mandalas, or even the groom’s initials hidden in the pattern). In many families, close female relatives and friends also get simple mehndi applied. It’s considered auspicious — the darker the henna stain, the stronger the love and bond between bride & groom (and mother-in-law’s affection too, as per tradition!). 🎶 Celebrations Music & Dance: Traditional songs, dholki, and choreographed dance performances by family members. Games: Fun couple games, guessing the groom’s initials hidden in the bride’s mehndi, etc. Decor: Bright and vibrant with marigolds, fairy lights, drapes, swings (jhoola), umbrellas, and floral backdrops. 👗 Outfits The bride usually wears green, yellow, or pink lehenga/gharara with floral jewelry. Guests wear colorful ethnic outfits (lehenga, sharara, kurta-pyjama).
Sangeet
Perfect 🎶 — the Sangeet night is usually the most entertaining and glamorous of all pre-wedding events! Here’s what happens at a Sangeet: 🎤 Sangeet Ceremony Highlights 🎶 Music & Performances Both families prepare dance performances (solo, couple, group, or even fun skits). Popular Bollywood, Punjabi, or regional songs keep the mood lively. Sometimes a professional choreographer is hired to prepare dances. Live singers or DJs add extra glamour. 💃 Dance & Fun The bride and groom usually have a grand couple dance performance. Friends often do funny acts mimicking the couple’s love story. Family dances turn into an open dance floor where everyone joins in. ✨ Decor & Vibe Glamorous theme — fairy lights, chandeliers, LED screens, stage, and props. Themes can be royal, Bollywood, bohemian, or retro depending on taste. Entry of bride & groom is often dramatic — with dhol, fireworks, or spotlight. 👗 Outfits Bride wears a lehenga or gown with heavy embroidery.
